Mr. Miller has initiated and executed two Initial Public Offerings (Micrografx NASD-MGXI and El Chico NASD-ELCH), and has twenty years of financial and executive leadership roles in high growth and startup situations. Mr. Miller has completed successful projects with Resources Connection (formerly a part of Deloitte & Touche) and has held progressively senior positions with the accounting firm of Ernst and Young in the area of International Taxation. Mr. Miller has over 15 years of experience in developing business models which have raised over $100MM in venture capital for six companies In 2003 Mr.Miller started a private CPA practice. Since then the firm clients including public companies, several specialty retailers,mortgage companies, large non-profit 501(c), entrepreneurs, builders and real estate developers. Recently, CFO Ventures has been formed to help companies with their financing needs providing the following services: factoring of account receivables; raising capital; assisting with commercial loan financings; and, due diligence for business buyers. In the area of taxation, we have assisted several clients resolve complex tax issues. Further, Miller has teamed with one of the top CPA firms in the Southwest to expand their international tax and consulting services, focusing on companies who wish to expand internationally and need advice on such things as transfer pricing, expatriate and global tax minimization strategies.
